Dear Friends:

Thank you so much for your generous contribution of $347.65 to Rotaplast International dated July 24, 2003. Your generosity will help Rotaplast International fulfill its mission to treat children worldwide. Undeniably, the most memorable and lasting aspect of your support will be the heartfelt gratitude from the children you have directly helped and their parents who no longer have to see their children suffer.

As you know, Rotaplast International facilitates surgical missions to developing countries to help children born with the cleft lip and palate anomaly. Children treated by Rotaplast receive free reconstructive surgery that will allow them to have a normal appearance and to speak and swallow food correctly. Although the cleft anomaly is not life threatening, it is life compromising. Children affected by the cleft anomaly grow up in isolation, "cleft" from the normal joys of childhood. They are often tormented and rejected by their peers, isolated from society to the extent that they are deprived of any chance of education, and hidden away and treated as outcasts. Tragically, they are also prone to serious upper respiratory problems and hearing loss. Rotaplast seeks to help them by providing surgical intervention and long-term counseling for parents on ways to prevent this condition. To date, over 5,000 children have been treated through Rotaplast and their lives permanently changed.

Rotaplast International is a 501 {c) {3) charitable organization {Federal Identification No. 94- 3247677) and your contribution qualifies as a charitable donation under Federal and California State Tax laws. We acknowledge that nothing of value, including goods or services, were provided or expected in return for your donation.

Once again, thank you for your support of Rotaplast's worthy efforts to help children and our longterm goal to eliminate untreated cleft lips and palates by the year 2025.

Sincerely

signed:     Anita Stangl
